I saw this recipe HERE for Pepperoni roll-ups and decided to try them out but I had some leftover spaghetti sauce and different cheese and they turned out very yummy. Here is what I did…
I used crescent rolls, spaghetti sauce, shredded Mexican 4 cheese and pepperoni (cut up into small pieces), garlic salt.
Here is what they looked like
After unrolling the crescent rolls I put a very small amount (teaspoon) of spaghetti sauce on the crescent roll, pepperoni and sprinkled a little bit of cheese on top. I then rolled them up and pinched the open sides together. I sprinkled garlic salt on the top and then I baked them for 12-15 minutes (until golden brown) at 375! They turned out very yummy.
You could serve them with a dipping sauce or just eat them like they are! 3 out out of 4 ate it in my family. My two year old is not a big meat eater and when he saw the pepperoni he wouldn’t eat it. Maybe a plain cheese one for him next time!!
The other recipe just calls for mozzarella cheese & pepperoni!
Have you tried these before? Did you like them?
