If you have been around Ally’s Hints for very long you have seen a couple of posts about me picking the garbage. Well I wouldn’t say going through it looking but I do have an eye for something good sticking out of or laying beside a dumpster. I have never been in any garbage piles!
I have found baby gates, toys, strollers, slides and yesterday a perfectly good Fisher Price Space Saver high chair. Our neighbors must have cleaned out their garage a little bit and I saw it. I looked at it twice when I walked outside and I didn’t know what they would think of me going and picking up their garbage. Well, they have their house up for sale so I decided a good high chair for a friend is worth them seeing me pick up their garbage.
This is what it looked like after I picked it up from the curb.
I washed it all down and threw the seat protector in the washer. It didn’t look so good BUT it came out looking wonderful!

I contacted a couple of friends that I thought maybe could use it and found a home for it immediately and it will be handed over tonight! This high chair sells for about $50.00. The great thing about these is that you can find replacement parts for them easy too and a lot less than buying brand new. I replaced a tray for one once. Click HERE if you need some parts for one.
