I haven’t done a lot of shopping this week but today I did manage to make it to CVS and get a couple of deals before I got back in my car and my car wouldn’t start! Glad we purchased AAA because my husband was in the middle of services at the church and couldn’t leave easy to help us out. We got a jump and made it back home. Have to take it to get a new battery tomorrow.
Anyway on to my deal 
I love getting items that earn me ECB’s (Extra Care Bucks) back and then I can use them towards another purchase the next week. I try to buy items I can use coupons on and also get ECB’s back. I had used all of mine last week for my deal so this week I was starting over.
I purchased two Revlon nail polishes priced at 4.99 a piece
Used a dollar off coupon on each (found in this weeks SmartSource) and got $3.00 in ECB’s back for each of them so I got $6.00 back and only paid $2.00 for both of them. You can get up to six of them so I may go back and get four more.
I also purchased two airwick compact kits and spent $20.00 on two of them and used two $2.00 off coupons (7/22/12 SS). I paid $15.98 but got back $10.00 in extra care bucks and spent $2.99 on each of them.
Purchased a Gillette razor and priced at $9.99 and used a $4.00 off coupon and got back $4.00 in ECB’s. Paid $1.99 for the razor.
Between these three deals I got back $20.00 in ECB’s good for my next purchase. I could have done multiple transactions and not paid as much out of pocket but I have a huge savings the next time I go next week.
The toothpaste I needed and wasn’t on sale and the vitamin C was BOGO!
Total of items was $54.43
used $10.00 in coupons so paid $44.43 and got back $20.00 ECB’s so it is like I paid $24.43 and I have $20.00 for my next trip! Not totally free or 75% savings but I am certain to get a great deal next time with my $20.00 in ECB’s!
How do I find out about these great deals? I use Couponersunited website and they do all the planning for me. I just have to clip the coupons and shop!
