The Pain Jesus Went Through For Me!

This last week as been a long week of pain for me.  Pain at times like I have never felt before.  Pain that feels like someone is taking a knife and cutting your side wide open.
Last night I prayed to God to help me and posted scripture after scripture praying to God to help me and take away my pain.

This morning I woke up still with a little bit of pain but thankful that I was feeling better.  Then as I started to read all the posts on FB about Jesus is alive and seeing over and over again Happy Easter and sending messages myself I started to cry again!  This time it was happy tears.

Realizing what Jesus did for me and all the pain he endured much more than the pain I have been through this week. He did all of that for me! I can’t imagine the pain and agony he went through carrying the cross, beaten, spit on…  I did have a taste of pain this week and I am thankful for God giving me a little taste of what it might have felt like to be in pain, a pain that is so unbearable that you break down and cry and cry out to God.

Thank you Jesus for dying for ME. Thank you Jesus for enduring so much pain for ME.

Thank you Jesus for rising again and that you are alive today and making a home for me in Heaven.  Jesus I can’t wait to be with you and until that day I will do my best to live for you!

Thank God you are ALIVE today! Happy Easter

Matthew 28:1-10 
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” (NIV)

Randomness About Ally

Who is Ally?  Here are a few random facts about me so you can get to know me a little bit better.

 

I moved when I was 19 from Michigan to Georgia and was a nanny for two boys.

I grew up in Sheridan & Stanton MI, My last name is now Stanton.

I always babysat kids growing up a lot of my big jobs were boys, I guess God knew I would eventually have two boys of my own.

I have never had the Chicken Pox

I played the French Horn for years in High School and a few years at a church I attended.  It is now in my closet collecting dust.

I sang a lot growing up in choirs and in musicals and in church choirs.  I haven’t sang in church since moving to FL nine years ago.

I am the youngest of four kids.

I grew up in Michigan and the majority of my family still lives there.

I met my wonderful husband through eharmony.com thanks to my sister telling me about it.  This was back in 2003!

My boys are my life and everything I do is for them and my husband after God.

I grew up and went to the same church for 19 years.  It was a culture shock moving to the south and finding a different church to attend.

I am so thankful that I live in a house with air conditioning because I am not fond of the extreme heat in the Summer and would much rather stay inside than sweat to death.

I love meeting new friends and communicating with old ones.  I cherish the friendships I have.

I love Jesus so if you don’t like it than you don’t have to follow my FB page or blog!  I don’t force it on people but I won’t leave him out of my life.

I LOVE my friends at Ally’s Helpful Hints For Mommies and thankful for the community of mommies that we have where we can help each other out.

Book Review – Grow It, Build It, Save It!

This is a great and practical book to give you ideas on how to save thousands of dollars each year.  Britni does a great job on simply telling you how her family save $11,000 in one year in Grow It, Build It, Save It!

In Grow It Build It, Save It Britni talks about saving on Cable bills, Groceries, telephone service, Auto Insurance, Buying unnecessary Stuff and Eating Out!

I can personally say I have done a lot of her suggestions and it truly does help in saving money and a lot more than you realize once you add it all up. One great thing in the book is she asks you questions at the end of each chapter so you can figure out if cutting certain things out is right for you and you can figure out where best to save.  Almost like a little homework assignment but you can almost do it all in your head!

Simply cutting out a lot of things you don’t use or don’t need adds up to a lot of extra money in your pocket every year.  If your in a financial pickle and looking for a way to save some money it would be worth the read.  It is a quick read with practical advice on how to save.  If your not sure how much more you can cut out of your bills give it a try you may just learn something else that you can change with your finances.
