Have you heard of or have you ever used Angel Food Ministries? It is a great way for your family to save money. I have never used it yet myself but hear that is wonderful and such a money saver. Once a month you order your box of food of your choice and pick it up at a local host site. If you are wondering if there is a host site close to your home you can click HERE and find locations. Lots of the hosts are churches. In my home town area there are eight locations close to me and Tomoka Christian church is one of them which happens to be where I attend church. 
The best place to find out about Angel Food Ministries is to check out their website! You can order online with them or contact a host site in your area. You order by a specific date each month and then have a designated day you pick up your food at your host site! For Ormond Beach area folks you can also follow Angel Food Ministry of Tomoka Christian Church and they will keep you up to date on when to order and what is on the menu for that month since the menu changes each month.
You get fresh veggies, meat items some frozen and some fresh and it is not the same menu each month. A box they say feeds a family of four for about a week!
